1. Overview & Scope

This Cookie & Storage Policy explains how TableGreet Inc. (“TableGreet,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) utilizes cookies, LocalStorage, SessionStorage, and mobile device identifiers across the TableGreet consumer application and web services hosted at tablegreet.com.

Whether you access TableGreet through a web browser, a QR code scan at a restaurant table, or our mobile application, these storage technologies enable seamless ordering, offline cart persistence, language localization, and session security.

2. Technologies We Use

  • Cookies: Small text files placed on your device to maintain secure session state and authenticate requests.
  • Browser LocalStorage: Key-value data stored directly in your browser or Web View to persist your active table cart, recent venue history, and language choices across app restarts.
  • SessionStorage: Temporary memory cleared when closing your active tab or app view, used for temporary payment tokens and scan state.
  • Mobile Device Identifiers: Anonymous tokens used for delivering real-time push notifications regarding order status and kitchen updates.

3. Detailed Category Breakdown

A. Essential & Security Storage

These storage keys are strictly necessary for the core operation of TableGreet. They authenticate your guest order session, protect against CSRF attacks, and enable real-time order tracking on tablegreet.com.

  • tg_session_token (TableGreet) — Encrypted guest order session token (Session / 30 Days).
  • sb:token (Supabase) — Real-time authentication and database authorization token.
  • __cf_bm (Cloudflare) — Automated bot protection and DDoS prevention.

B. Functional & Preference Storage

Functional items remember your preferences so you do not need to reconfigure them on every visit.

  • tg_locale — Stores your preferred language (English, Arabic RTL, French).
  • tg_active_cart — LocalStorage payload keeping your unsubmitted item selections intact if your connection drops.
  • tg_venue_history — Stores recently visited venue slugs for quick re-ordering.

C. Analytics & Performance

Helps us understand app usage patterns, page load speeds, and feature usage to continuously improve the TableGreet experience.

  • _ga / _gid (Google Analytics) — Aggregated, anonymized web and app traffic metrics.
  • firebase_analytics (Firebase) — Anonymized app interaction events.

4. How to Manage or Disable Cookies

You can control and manage cookies or LocalStorage through your browser or mobile device settings:

  • Browser Settings: Most web browsers allow you to block, clear, or restrict cookies in their Privacy or Security settings menu.
  • Mobile App Settings: You can manage notification and location permissions directly through your iOS or Android device settings.
  • Impact of Blocking: Disabling essential storage will prevent TableGreet from maintaining your active table order session, requiring manual menu re-scans.

5. Contact & Privacy Questions
